Banners, delivery instructions and thank you blocks

Alongside the rules, the app ships checkout blocks you place yourself in the Shopify checkout editor: admin → Settings → Checkout → Customize.

Informational banners with a title, message, and tone (info, success, warning, critical). Each banner can show always or only within a cart subtotal range, for example “Free shipping from €50” until the threshold is reached. Templates cover free shipping, holiday cut off dates, no PO Boxes, and returns.

Placement matters:

  • Order summary placement works on every Shopify plan.
  • Banners at the information, shipping or payment steps require Shopify Plus, because only Plus stores can customize those checkout steps.

Delivery instructions (Pro + Shopify Plus)

Section titled “Delivery instructions (Pro + Shopify Plus)”

A free text field at the shipping step where the customer leaves a note for the courier. The note is saved on the order so fulfilment sees it. Enable it under Settings, then add the block at the shipping step in the checkout editor.

Added at the Thank you step in the checkout editor:

  • Social and WhatsApp buttons (free plan): give customers a direct way to reach or follow you right after purchase.
  • What happens next: a short expectations block.
  • Post purchase survey (Pro): one question with choice, yes/no, or open text answers, an optional follow up, and templates for attribution and checkout clarity. Answers are saved on the order and collected in a log you can export as CSV.
  • You might also like: product recommendations.

An order status page block with social and support links is available the same way.

The Blocked Orders page lists blocked checkout attempts with the rule, the blocked value, and date filters, exportable as CSV. Entries are kept for 90 days. Analytics estimates what those blocks saved you, based on a cost per failed delivery you can set in Settings.

PO Box blocks are recorded reliably. Counts for other rules can be incomplete, because they depend on browser side reporting that some checkouts do not deliver. Treat the log as a strong signal, not bookkeeping.

The app provides an Order blocked at checkout trigger for Shopify Flow, with the rule, blocked value, country, subtotal and currency as fields, so you can build your own follow up automation.
